The Elixir I by Trois Couronnes is a luxury spring mattress with 4 rows of micro springs 22 mm in diameter (Swiss franc diameter) and 2 rows on each side of the mattress. The Elixir I mattress is based on a unique design of Revolution® double independent springs and 2000 High Density® mini spring system with 22 mm diameter. They have been oven hardened, which provides protection against deformation and allows the manufacturer to give a lifetime warranty on the spring units in its mattresses.

The Revolution® spring system at the heart of the mattress has a unique two-stage spring-in-spring design. The inner spring is in its own pouch, as well as the outer spring, ensuring longevity and silent operation of the springs.

The mini 2000 High Density® spring system is a high-density independent spring system made of specially developed ultra-thin wire with a diameter of only 22 mm. Each spring is no bigger than a Swiss franc! These springs follow the contour of the sleeper's body and relieve pressure, reacting instantly to any change in sleeper position on the mattress.

Winter-summer function:

1st side: Mulberry long-staple silk and untreated Tussah silk and Bamboo (summer).

Silk is a natural healing material, which has a beneficial effect on the human body and skin. And what is more, it perfectly regulates the temperature of the sleeping environment.

Despite human involvement in the process of producing Mulberry silk, this kind of silk is 100% natural. The whole process of obtaining silk is done by hand and no chemical compositions are used. That allows to preserve all the natural properties of silk. Mulberry products are more expensive than Tussah products. Thus, Mulberry silk needs to be put one-third less in a mattress than Tussa to achieve the same thermal insulation characteristics, so the product will be lighter.

2nd side: Cashmere and camel down fiber (winter).  

Cashmere is a very fine, soft and warm twill weave fabric woven from combed yarns made from the down undercoat of cashmere mountain goats. Himalayan cashmere is the most valuable cashmere on the planet. Its extraordinary ability to trap air provides a high degree of heat insulation and guarantees the preservation of warmth during the winter months.  Cashmere gives warmth in winter and coolness in summer, making sleep incredibly comfortable. Moreover, the soft undercoat hair of the camel is widely known as a natural therapeutic material.

Viscose is remarkable for its high wear resistance, good moisture absorption and air passage. This material is also highly durable, holds shape well, does not roll up. And what is more, it has the properties of natural silk, including maintaining the right microclimate of the bed.
