Sheep wool has some outstanding characteristics. For example, it is extremely soft and wavy (the length of fibers is up to 100 mm (4 inches). These strong curls of the wool allow it to retain a large amount of air inside. So they give wool its unique insulating effect.
This filler is resistant to deformation, breathable and it never gets moistened.
But the most remarkable thing about wool is its ability to keep warmth and produce the so-called effect of “dry heat”. The healing effect of heat therapy by wool is based on the ability of dry heat to soothe, relax and comfort. As a result, pains disappear little by little. The dry heat effect helps to relax muscles, stimulate lymph and blood circulation, improve the work of the heart, and has analgesic, sedative and anti-inflammatory effects.
Our Wool Naturopathy Duvet is filled with pure sheep wool and has a fine Egyptian cotton casing.
This duvet by Trois Couronnes can be combined with the Cashmere Duvet, Samarkand Duvet and Mao Duvet.
