So, let's dive into the exciting world of Milan Design Week and see what caught our eye!
Let's begin by discussing the sensory experience that visitors encounter when they enter an exhibition.
Almost every object on display provided an immersive sensorial encounter that captivated visitors in a profound and engaging way. Beyond a purely visual experience, the exhibition invited visitors to participate in a tactile experience, as they explore the Blanche mirrors that reflect an explosion of light and hidden symbolism waiting to be discovered.
More eco-friendliness!
At the exhibition, a great emphasis was placed on naturalness, harmony, and eco-friendliness, which is why we decided to start sharing with you impressions of fragrances. The organizers did everything to immerse visitors not only in a visual experience but also in a sensory one.
As visitors marvel at the beauty of the objects on display, they also notice a delicate fragrance that envelops and relaxes them. The exhibition space is entirely covered in a powder pink eco-fur made by Jab Anstoetz Group, releasing the scent of amber.

This bespoke fragrance, crafted in collaboration with renowned perfumer Antonella Bondi, stimulates a sense of sensuality, with a blend of sweet notes that create a mystical, ancestral atmosphere. This olfactory journey is the perfect accompaniment for visitors as they explore the exhibition's wonders and experience its unique generative blends.

Exploring brands:
During Salone del Mobile, the brand ETRO unveils the Home Collection, consisting of four décor worlds inspired by the history, iconography, and imaginative spirit of the Maison.
Materials include porcelain, wood, metal, and fine fabrics. One installation features four artworks used to create a series of cashmere jacquard blankets. The artworks depict natural elements such as leaves, trees, waves, and clouds, highlighting the connection with nature.
Crossing the threshold of Missoni's 9 Via Solferino space always reveals a world of fantasy. The new doughnut or panettone-shaped pouf seats take center stage in this whimsical game, with a colorful mix & match of materials that blend into an artistic puzzle, perfectly showcasing Missoni's signature style. Missoni's poufs and other decorative items and furniture come to life amidst the buzz.
Natural colors and bright accents!
The atmosphere is light, airy, and sparkling, with watery and fresh tones that intersect with grace, creating a dynamic and vibrant energy. The use of various textures adds depth and breathes life into the space, highlighting Missoni's dexterity and skill in crafting unique and captivating interiors.
We were thrilled to see WonderGlass showcasing its expertise in the field with its group exhibition entitled Abrakadabra. Featuring the works of eight prominent names in design, the exhibition is a testament to the unique and timeless beauty of glass artistry. With WonderGlass's furnaces, where glass is blown, cast, and fused using traditional techniques, the company has become a leader in the field and is an exciting participant in Design Week.
This year, Hermès offers new perspectives featuring a collection of new furniture, textiles, and accessories displayed in a unique and imaginative setting that brings the brand's creative universe to life. The installation, created by Hermès Maison's artistic directors Charlotte Macaux-Perelman and Alexis Fabry, showcases an array of exquisite pieces, including the hand-embroidered Cordélie Arçon cotton rug and the elegant Souffle d'Hermès glass lamps, all seamlessly interacting with each other.

Atelier Biagetti's new project, The King, inspired by Elvis Presley, delves into how man has always attempted the impossible to make the mortal immortal. The exhibition showcases a series of new legendary pieces - unique objects and paintings in limited editions - displayed together to break down the boundaries between artistic disciplines and transcend conventional limits of creative expression.
One of the peculiarities of Milan Design Week is the fact that throughout the week, historical palazzos are taken over by brands, collectives, and designers to showcase some of the most creative design installations. Milan Design Week 2023 offered a path of exploration of the city, with several new locations used as a backdrop to design exhibitions for the first time. Milan is a design mecca not just for interior and product design. But various verticals of the design itself, including fashion design.
At myroomy, we also adhere to this philosophy in designing our space — promoting well-being and inspiring visitors to incorporate natural elements.
In conclusion, the exhibition in Milan has truly exceeded our expectations in terms of its contemporary and innovative approach to design. We were inspired by the wide range of unique and creative collections on display, and we feel energized to take these ideas back to our offered collection.
Dear interior designers and architects, we believe that the trends we saw at the fair can be applied to interior design in 2023-2024, particularly appealing to those who prefer more relaxed styles like hygge, which are popular in Scandinavia and Western Europe. Additionally, the comfort-focused housing style is in high demand among design developers and decorators in the UK.
For exterior designs, incorporating natural patterns such as plants and flowers would be suitable, creating a cool and refreshing atmosphere. These designs are particularly well-received in markets like the UAE and all MENA regions, where myroomy offers an extensive collection for your cozy style homes of products made from luxurious, breathable materials ideal for hot climates.
Being part of such an event has been a great honor for us, and we are grateful for the opportunity to participate in such an exciting and thought-provoking showcase of the latest trends in design. We look forward to attending future events like this and continuing to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation in offered collections.
